We are proud that KPS was recognized by PitchBook as the top-performing fund series in the Buyout Megafunds category in its 2025 Global Manager Performance Score League Tables (published July 28, 2026) – marking the second consecutive year we have earned this distinction.

This recognition reflects the performance of the KPS fund series from KPS Fund I (closed in 1998) through KPS Fund VI (active today) – a 27-year track record.

PitchBook's Global Manager Performance Score League Tables employ a data-driven methodology to identify top-performing private capital fund strategies. Leveraging track record data on thousands of private funds (including KPS Funds I through VI), PitchBook's analysis ranks the historical performance of each manager's family of funds across vintage years relative to each fund family's peer group. The Buyout Megafunds category includes 65 global fund families with recent fund sizes of at least $5 billion.

Manager Score Badge Category Note: Fund families in the top 10% of Performance Scores within their strategy receive gold badges, those between the 75th and 90th percentiles receive silver badges, and the remaining fund families with scores above the neutral 50-point threshold receive bronze badges. For the Buyout Megafund strategy shown above, this corresponds to Performance Score thresholds of 66.5 (gold), 59.2 (silver), and >50 (bronze).
